Milford Engineering & Robotics encompasses the engineering related classes and extra curricular clubs offered by Milford Exempted Village Schools. The Milford Engineering STEM Program utilizes Project Lead the Way (PLTW) to offer students an engaging, hands-on academic experience. Milford Robotics provides after school clubs that allow students to gather and compete in local and national robotics competitions.
Project Lead the Way is a two-year Junior High School and a four-year High School sequence of courses aimed at increasing the number, quality and diversity of future engineers.
VEX Robotics is an after school VEX Robotics V5 club for students in eighth grade and high school. Eighth grade students also meet in ACE and during class time. Teams compete in regional, state and world VEX Robotics Competition (VRC) events.
BattleBots is an after school club for high school students to design and build 1 lb, 3lb and 15 lb robots for competition at regional and national events such as Xtreme Bots and National Robotics League.
Approaching 7th grade? What to know if you are interested in Milford Engineering and Project Lead the Way.
Milford Robotics would not be possible without generous donations of time and money. Our program is growing in both size and success as more students become interested and involved in engineering. Milford Engineering and Robotics Boosters (MERB) does a great job fundraising and hosting robotics events so that all students have an opportunity to participate.
